From the employer

We’re looking for a confident Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our People Team and deliver an inclusive, efficient and high-quality end-to-end recruitment service from our Belfast office. You will partner with hiring managers to attract and select outstanding talent, with a particular focus on hard-to-fill digital and technology roles, while building diverse pipelines, providing an excellent candidate experience and using recruitment data to continuously improve how we hire.

WHAT YOU’LL DO (Duties)

  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and create clear, compelling and inclusive job descriptions, adverts and selection criteria using appropriate bias-checking tools.
  • Develop proportionate recruitment plans using direct sourcing, specialist channels, networking, internal mobility and reskilling, and approved agency support (when required).
  • Manage vacancies and candidate workflows in Workable, including advertising, screening, scheduling, deadline management and accurate status updates.
  • Proactively identify and engage candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, events and specialist channels, building diverse pipelines for current and anticipated needs.
  • Conduct structured screening and interviews, evaluate evidence consistently against agreed criteria and support fair, inclusive and compliant selection decisions.
  • Advise hiring managers on market conditions, pipeline health, interview design and appointment decisions, and coordinate feedback and offers.
  • Deliver a responsive, respectful and accessible candidate experience, and coordinate approved recruitment suppliers with a focus on direct hiring and value for money.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment and Northern Ireland equality-monitoring records, produce management information and support continuous improvement and wider Talent Management initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end recruitment or talent acquisition in-house and/or within an agency, ideally in a digital, technology or other fast-moving environment.
  • Demonstrable ability to design and deliver sourcing strategies, including direct search and engagement for specialist or hard-to-fill roles.
  • Experience using LinkedIn, online, social and specialist recruitment channels, together with an applicant tracking system, to actively identify talent and maintain accurate vacancy and candidate records.
  • Experience conducting structured screening and interviews, promoting equity, diversity and inclusion and applying fair, inclusive and evidence-based selection practices.
  • Working knowledge of Northern Ireland equality-monitoring requirements, with the ability to maintain compliant records and complete annual reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to provide clear, practical advice to hiring managers.
  • Highly organised and detail-focused, able to manage multiple vacancies and deadlines, interpret and analyse recruitment data and use insight to improve sourcing, selection and candidate experience with the ability to work independently.
  • Commercially aware and committed to an inclusive, professional candidate experience and strong employer brand; a relevant HR, recruitment or talent-acquisition qualification would be desirable.
  • A self-confident, driven, and determined individual.
