  • Hands-on completion of a multi-structure study that covered sworn police or fire pay plans

- Analyze compression across police, fire, paramedic, and general schedules

- Recommend classification structures, grade assignments, and implementation phases

- Prepare council/management presentations and proposal technical content for AlphaGov

- Coordinate with specialist SMEs (utility, K-12, benefits) when scopes expand

Requirements

  • Required:
  • - 7+ years public-sector compensation/classification consulting (or equivalent municipal HR compensation leadership)

  • - Experience with organizations of roughly 500+ FT employees or 200+ distinct titles
  • - Strong analytical, writing, and stakeholder presentation skills
  • - Ability to cite concrete past government projects (agency, role, year)

Nice to have:

- CCP/WorldatWork

- SC/NC/Southeast municipal studies

- Total rewards/benefits valuation

- FLSA public-safety fluency
