From the employer

Who We Are

Atoms is building the machines that power the next era of progress.

Over the last decade, software has transformed the digital world. But the physical world, where food is made, minerals are mined, goods are moved, and industries are run, remains far less intelligent, far less efficient, and far more constrained. We’re changing that.

Atoms builds Physical AI— real-world robots for the industries that move civilization forward, starting with food, mining, and transport. Our systems are designed to understand, predict, and control the real world with precision, turning complex physical operations into something more reliable, more scalable, and more productive.

This work requires more than robotics. It requires deep integration across hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate. We don’t just build machines in a lab. We deploy them into real environments, operate them, learn from them, and improve them until they work at scale.

We are roboticists, engineers, operators, and builders. We believe the next great technology companies will not only transform information, but the physical systems that shape everyday life.

If you want to work on hard problems with real-world impact, join us.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with product and engineering leadership: Serve as the senior HR partner and trusted advisor to engineering and product leaders across a large and growing technical organization.
  • Shape the organization: Lead org design, workforce planning, and headcount strategy as teams scale and priorities shift.
  • Own the talent cycle: Run performance reviews, calibrations, leveling, and promotions for engineering and product, and partner closely with compensation on pay decisions.
  • Build leaders: Run talent reviews, strengthen the bench of engineering managers and directors, and coach technical leaders at every level.
  • Handle the hard moments: Manage sensitive employee relations matters, reorganizations, and change with sound judgment and speed.
  • Use data to drive decisions: Track attrition, engagement, and org health, and turn what you learn into action with leadership.

What We’re Looking For

  • You bring 7 to 10 years of HR experience, including a senior HR or people business partner role supporting a product and engineering organization of several hundred or more.
  • You have done this work at a company known for the strength of its engineering, and you understand how technical teams are built, leveled, and managed.
  • You have partnered directly with a CTO, VP of Engineering, or Chief Product Officer and are credible with technical leaders.
  • You have owned engineering performance and calibration cycles, career ladders, and promotion processes at scale.
  • You stay hands-on, move quickly, and do your best work in a high-bar, fast-paced environment.

Why join us

Our work only matters if it serves others, and we know that meaningful progress depends on the trust of the people we serve and the strength of our team—so we invest in both, creating an environment where you can do your best work and grow.
