We’re looking for a hands-on Payroll Implementations Project Lead to help deliver payroll transformation across DAZN’s global business.
Reporting to the SVP of Global Reward and Payroll, you’ll lead projects that improve how we run, connect and scale our payroll operations. From integrating acquired businesses to implementing systems and transitioning providers, you’ll turn priorities into clear plans and drive delivery through to a successful handover.
This role will suit someone who understands payroll, enjoys solving complex problems and can keep multiple stakeholders and workstreams moving.
You’ll play a key role in shaping more efficient, reliable and scalable payroll operations across our global business, with ownership of project delivery and direct exposure to a broad range of transformation initiatives.

You’ll play a key role in shaping more efficient, reliable and scalable payroll operations across our global business, with ownership of project delivery and direct exposure to a broad range of transformation initiatives.
- Manage global payroll projects from planning through implementation, testing, go-live and operational handover.
- Support payroll integration following acquisitions, including process reviews, data migration and provider transitions.
- Deliver payroll vendor implementations, migrations and consolidation projects.
- Coordinate payroll system implementations and integrations with HR, Finance, benefits, time and attendance, and banking systems.
- Improve payroll processes, controls and payment methods, using technology, automation and AI where they can make a meaningful difference.
- Support compliance and IPO readiness by documenting processes and controls, coordinating audit requests and tracking actions through to completion.
- Work closely with Payroll, People, Finance, Tax, Legal, Treasury, Technology and external providers to resolve issues and keep delivery on track.
- Maintain clear project plans, milestones and risk logs, provide regular updates and escalate issues when decisions or support are needed.
- Be an individual contributor owning this area as part of the global payroll team.
- Experience delivering global or multi-country payroll projects, particularly system implementations, vendor changes or acquisition integrations.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to turn complex requirements into practical delivery plans.
- A good understanding of payroll processes, compliance, controls and payments.
- Confidence working across teams, managing external providers and influencing stakeholders to deliver agreed outcomes.
- A hands-on, organised approach, with strong problem-solving skills and clear communication.
- An interest in using technology, automation and AI to improve payroll operations.
- Experience coordinating audits, working with HMRC or other authorities, or supporting IPO readiness and SOX compliance would be an advantage.
