From the employer

About Mercor

Mercor's mission is to organize human intelligence to power the AI economy. We're a leading AI data company, building the layer between human expertise and frontier models. Millions of domain experts on the platform are paid over $4 million per day to train frontier AI models. Mercor's APEX benchmark family measures AI's real-world impact on professional work. Mercor Enterprise brings this same infrastructure to Fortune 500 companies: helping companies capture how their best people actually work, translating that expertise directly back into agents.

Mercor is creating a new category of work where expertise powers AI advancement. Achieving this requires an ambitious, fast-paced and deeply committed team. You’ll work alongside researchers, operators, and AI companies at the forefront of shaping the systems that are redefining society. Mercor is a profitable Series C company valued at $10 billion. We work in-person five days a week in our San Francisco, NYC, or London offices.

About the Role

As a GTM Recruiter at Mercor, you'll own full-cycle hiring for the teams that drive our revenue: Growth, Data Acquisition, Account Executives, and Engagement Manager roles that sit at the front line of our relationships with the world's leading AI labs and enterprises. You'll partner directly with leadership to turn revenue targets into hiring plans, and you'll understand what makes a great Account Executive or Data Partnerships Lead as well as you understand Mercor's product. This is a 0→1 motion for GTM recruiting specifically - you're building the playbook, not inheriting one.

What You'll Do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for Mercor's GTM organization: Sales, Partnerships/BD, and Growth with occasional support across Operations and other business functions as priorities shift

  • Assess for what GTM roles actually require: quota attainment, deal-cycle ownership, territory/segment fluency, and consultative selling

  • Build top-of-funnel using creative outbound, talent intelligence, and Mercor's own product (structured screens, automated work samples, calibrated rubrics)

  • Coach hiring managers and interviewers on structured interviewing, leveling, and decision hygiene specific to revenue roles

  • Operationalize hiring systems: track and optimize funnel metrics by role and segment

  • Champion speed and quality: drive SLAs for fast decisions, fast offers, and a candidate experience that holds up in a highly competitive GTM talent market

  • Represent Mercor externally as a face of the brand in a market where AI labs and top startups are all competing for the same GTM talent

  • Collaborate on dashboards, metrics, and process automation within Hex and other recruiting systems

What We're Looking For

  • 4-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience specifically for GTM roles - Account Executives, Data Acquisition, Growth and GTM Associates

  • Fluency in what makes a GTM hire strong: market research and account prospecting, deal-cycle and territory dynamics, consultative vs. transactional sales motions

  • Proven ability to build and scale hiring systems, identify key metrics, and make data-driven decisions

  • High motor, outcome-oriented approach; Mercor is in hypergrowth, and GTM hiring is a direct driver of revenue growth

  • Strong communication skills; able to work efficiently with GTM leadership, Account Leads, and internal cross functional partners

  • Confident representing the Mercor brand to top GTM candidates in a competitive market

  • Familiarity with Ashby or ability to quickly adopt new tools and systems

Nice to Haves

  • Experience recruiting for AI, SaaS or enterprise software companies

  • Experience as a founding recruiter or early-stage startup builder

  • Interest in the human data / AGI space

  • Comfort with shifting hiring demands; support for Operations, Strategy, or other business functions as Mercor's needs evolve

Ideal Qualities

  • Agility / Adaptability - ability to move fast, pivot with business shifts, and maintain best-in-class outcomes

  • Operational Rigor - ability to bring order to an unstructured environment

  • Growth Mindset - You don't need to be an expert on AI, but you do need a strong desire to learn in a rapidly evolving, frontier industry

  • Commitment to the Outcome - Ownership mentality; will hold yourself accountable to an extremely high standard of work

  • Love for the Craft - genuine enthusiasm for building a best-in-class GTM talent acquisition motion, not just recruiting operations

Benefits

  • $10K housing bonus (if you live within 0.5 miles of our office)

  • $1.5K monthly stipend for meals

  • Free Equinox membership

  • $200 monthly laundry reimbursement

  • $200 monthly personal wellness reimbursement

  • Up to $15K in relocation assistance (for moving to the Bay Area)

  • Health, Dental, Vision insurance

  • 401(k) with company match
