Build a better way to recruit

Most recruiting teams still spend too much time moving information between systems and too little time understanding people. Urrly is building an AI-native recruiting company that changes that balance. We automate much of the administrative work, then put the time back into thoughtful search strategy, real candidate conversations, sharper judgment, and a better experience for everyone involved.

We are growing a profitable business and still early in what we can build. The next person on our recruiting team will help shape how this model works in practice. You will see where the technology helps, notice where it falls short, and work with us to close the gaps. The opportunity is to become an exceptional recruiter while helping create a company that could change what clients and candidates expect from recruiting.

Your first chapter here

This is a hands-on recruiter role with meaningful responsibility and close coaching. You will own the candidate side of several searches: finding people, starting conversations, interviewing, keeping details straight, and moving promising candidates toward a decision. A senior partner owns the client relationship and reviews the work before it goes to the client. As you earn trust and develop judgment, your scope can grow across search strategy and client-facing work.

You may come from full-cycle recruiting, or you may be a standout SDR or BDR whose outbound discipline and results would transfer well. We are especially interested in people with roughly 2–7 years of professional experience, particularly those in the first 2–5 years who have already shown unusual performance and want room to grow. We care more about what you have owned and achieved than a particular title or degree.

What you will do

  • Learn the real need behind each search and build focused candidate pools.
  • Run thoughtful, persistent outbound outreach and a high volume of candidate conversations.
  • Interview for evidence, tell candidates the truth about opportunities, and document what you know and what you still need to learn.
  • Keep multiple searches moving with accurate notes, timely follow-up, and clear next steps.
  • Work with the partner who owns each client relationship to bring forward strong candidates and useful market feedback.
  • Use AI for research, drafting, planning, and workflow improvement while checking its output and making the human calls yourself.
  • Spot what our systems miss and help improve the next version of the process.

What will help you thrive

You have one of two foundations: sustained, high-volume outbound work in an SDR, BDR, or similar role, or hands-on full-cycle recruiting in a fast-moving environment. Managing roughly 10–15 open roles is useful evidence for recruiters; it is not a requirement for sales candidates.

In either path, you can point to results you personally drove and explain how they compared with goals or peers. You are organized, disciplined, careful with details, and dependable when the work gets busy. You are curious about people, direct in conversation, open to coaching, and comfortable using AI without surrendering your judgment to it.

How we grow together

We believe that committing deeply to work you believe in can open possibilities that are hard to see from the outside. At Urrly, you will work alongside people who care about getting better, share honest feedback, and give you real ownership as your judgment develops. Strong performance can create a fast path to broader responsibility. It is a path you build through the work, with coaching and support along the way.

This is an all-in chapter for our team. Searches and conversations span the East and West Coasts, so the day can start early or end late, with some weekend work. The current pace is typically around 65–70 hours a week. We will talk openly about that rhythm, what the work looks like, and what makes the opportunity worthwhile before either of us makes a decision.

Compensation

This is a full-time, salaried role with a base salary of $70,000–$80,000. Year-one on-target earnings are $150,000, including variable compensation when performance targets are met. OTE is a target, not a guarantee. We will walk through the commission plan and realistic earning examples during the process. Benefits will be provided starting in 2027.

Interview process

  1. We review your resume.
  2. If there is a potential match, we schedule a 15-minute introductory call, followed by a 10–15-minute attention-to-detail assessment.
  3. Candidates who meet the minimum assessment threshold for the role move to final interviews and complete CliftonStrengths and Working Genius assessments.

Urrly is an equal opportunity employer. We consider applicants based on job-related evidence and provide reasonable accommodations during the hiring process.
