What you'll do

- At least two years in purchasing or commodity management is preferred
- A supply chain bachelor’s degree is preferred

This position is responsible for managing the RFQ (request for quotation) process as well as new vendor set up and PPV (published price variance)/Re-quote claims.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage quarterly RFQ process for the site with both domestic and oversea suppliers.
- Drive for cost saving and MOQ (minimum order quantity)/MPQ (minimum package quantity) and Lead Time optimization.
- Validate/document all RFQ information from suppliers, complete quotation reports and submit all pricing for customer's approval timely.
- Set up new vendors by working with the Legal and Finance departments.
- Maintain accurate data in ERP (enterprise resource planning) system and ensure data compliance between internal and external systems.
- Issue quarterly Schedule Agreement for the site.
- Assist with resolution of pricing discrepancy and GR (goods received) issues.
- Identify opportunities and work to get approval from customers for PPV (published price variance)/Re-quote.
- Work with logistic team on shipment freight estimation
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required, including v-lookup and pivot tables
- Bilingual in Mandarin preferred
- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be self-motivated and able to work in a team
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of purchasing or commodity management preferred
- Contract electronic manufacturing experience is a plus.
