From the employer

About Us

Legora is redefining how legal work gets done. Not built for lawyers, built with them. We work alongside the world’s best legal teams, who expect excellence, precision, and speed, and we hold ourselves to the same bar.

Our AI-native workspace lets legal professionals move faster, think more clearly, and operate with sharper precision. By analysing thousands of documents in minutes and powering end-to-end workflows, we cut through complexity, teams can focus on what matters: judgment, strategy, and outcomes.

2,100+ customers across 80+ countries trust us, including Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Linklaters, White & Case, Dentons, and Barclays. We’ve scaled to $200M+ in ARR, with teams across Europe, North America and APAC, and continue to expand through acquisitions including Qura, Walter AI, Graceview, Cadastral, and Wexler.

We partner with world-class performers: including Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees, Ludvig Åberg (and his caddie), and campaigns featuring Jude Law.

Joining Legora means three things.

  • We lean in: ownership over titles, outcomes over intentions.

  • We fight for excellence: high standards, direct, ego-free feedback.

  • We grow together: as a team and with our customers.

Mission before ego. Everyone contributes. No one coasts.

If you’re driven by impact, pace, and raising the bar. This is the place.

The role

This role is at the heart of building and running the HR platform that powers Legora's global People operations. You'll join at a pivotal moment for the company, bringing hands-on expertise to help us get the foundations right as we scale. You'll work closely with external partners and internal teams to design, configure, test and release a platform that supports our growing global workforce. You'll make sure it stays reliable, secure and continuously improving as the business grows.

This is a hands-on role for someone who has built and run an enterprise HRIS and knows what it takes to make a platform work in practice, not just on paper. You'll combine technical expertise with an understanding of People processes, working closely with stakeholders to turn business requirements into effective system solutions.

What you'll own

  • Platform design and build. Work with our external partners on solution design, configuration, testing and release. Bring practical experience to challenge design decisions and ensure we're building a platform that will work for Legora long term.

  • Workstream delivery. Own defined sub-streams of our HRIS implementation from requirements to release. Run discovery with stakeholders, document requirements and design decisions, and manage your own plan, risks and dependencies

  • Platform configuration & administration. Configure, maintain and optimize our HRIS, including business processes, organisational structures, security, approvals and employee lifecycle transactions.

  • Requirements gathering. Run workshops with People, Finance, IT and business stakeholders to understand how processes work today and how they need to work at scale.

  • Translate People requirements into effective system configurations and workflows. Partner with functional experts to simplify processes, standardise where possible and build solutions that scale across our global footprint.

  • Data integrity. Support data mapping, validation and reconciliation across our People systems. Establish system controls and quality checks, working with People Operations and other data owners to maintain accurate, reliable employee data.

  • Testing & release management. Own functional testing for system changes, coordinate user acceptance testing and support ongoing releases. Assess downstream impacts, maintain documentation and ensure changes are deployed safely.

  • Platform support & optimisation. Troubleshoot issues, investigate root causes and support users. Identify opportunities to improve workflows, increase self-service adoption and reduce manual intervention.

What you'll bring

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with an enterprise HRIS, including platform support, configuration, testing, data work and releases.

  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements for HR system changes, and turning them into configuration and test plans.

  • Strong Core HCM knowledge, including business processes, organisational structures, security and reporting.

  • A strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes and how they operate across a global organisation. Experience translating HR requirements into system configurations and workflows.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high bar for data accuracy, system reliability and documentation.

  • The ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, explaining complex system concepts clearly. Track record of owning a workstream within a larger project or change programme.

  • A proactive, hands-on mindset. You're comfortable getting into the details, challenging assumptions and taking ownership of problems through to resolution.

  • Nice to have*:* experience with integrations between an HRIS and other systems, such as payroll, ATS, IT provisioning or finance. This could be defining requirements, mapping data, testing, or troubleshooting failed syncs.

  • Fluency in English, which is our working language.
